St Patricks Day Parade diversions – Sunday 11th March 2018

This Sunday (11th March) the annual St Patrick’s Day Parade will be taking place in and around Birmingham city centre.

During this period (6am to 7pm) there will no access to Digbeth High Street, Rea Street, Bradford Street, Moat Lane, Park Street, Upper Dean Street, Great Barr Street, Heath Mill Lane, and part of Moor Street Queensway. As a consequence, buses will be diverted as follows (all times are approximate).

Services 2, 3, 5, 6/6A, 31, 37 & X20 – Between 0600 and 1700 hours buses will diverted via Lawley Middleway and Bordesley Middleway. Passengers should board or alight at the Carrs Lane or High Street termini or at the Auckland Road bus stops on Stratford Road.

Services 16/16A – Between 0600 and 1900 hours buses will terminate at Bus Stop NS5 on Smallbrook Queensway. The Station Street and Upper Dean Street bus stops will NOT be served.

Service 35 – Between 0600 and 1900 hours buses will diverted via Belgrave Middleway and Bristol Street. Passengers should board or alight at Bus Stop MS4 on Moor Street Queensway or at the bus stops on Longmore Street (to city) or Sherlock Street (from city).

Services 45 & 47 – Between 0600 and 1700 hours buses will diverted on journeys into city. Passengers should board or alight at the bus stops on Pershore Road or at Bus Stop NS1 on St Martin’s Queensway. Journeys from city are unaffected and will continue to serve their normal bus stops.

Service 50 – Between 0600 and 1900 hours buses will diverted via Belgrave Middleway and Bristol Street. Passengers should board or alight at Bus Stop MS3 on Moor Street Queensway or at the bus stops on Moseley Road (Athole Street).

Services 17, 60, X1 & X2 – Between 0600 and 1700 hours buses will diverted via Lawley Middleway. Passengers should board or alight at Bus Stop BS17 on Albert Street or at the bus stops on Coventry Road (Bordesley Circus).

Services 80/80A – Between 0600 and 1900 hours buses will terminate at Bus Stop NS3 on St Martin’s Queensway. The Station Street and Upper Dean Street bus stops will NOT be served.

Service 97 – Between 0600 and 1700 hours buses will diverted via Lawley Middleway. Passengers should board or alight at Bus Stop MS8 on Moor Street Queensway or at the bus stops on Garrison Lane.
