Updated: To save making a whole new article, there will be further changes from Sunday 31st May also.
It has been confirmed today that from Sunday 24th May 2020 National Express West Midlands (NX Bus) will be increasing service levels in order to meet rising demand as passengers start going back to work.
Over the next few weeks, National Express West Midlands will be increasing the number of vehicles on each route, so there should be more space on each bus. We will continue to carefully monitor passenger numbers and adjust timetables accordingly.

We are asking people travelling to stay apart to stay safe. Customers should also follow government guidance on staying safe outside their home, including wearing a face covering and avoiding peak travel times where possible. We kindly ask that all our customers follow the current government advice and remain 2 metres apart at all times – when you’re getting on and off the bus, and when you’re choosing where to sit.
The expert advice from public health authorities around washing hands frequently, what to look out for and what to do if you develop symptoms, is being regularly shared with all of our staff.
We have enhanced our extensive vehicle cleaning regimes to ensure we maintain high levels of hygiene for both drivers and customers and reduce the risk of contact with Coronavirus (COVID-19). We will continue to follow advice from public health bodies and introduce any additional measures that are recommended or required.
