Service 55 temporary diversion from Sunday 4th October 2020
Due to overgrown trees, service 55 will operate to a temporary diversion route from Sunday 4th October. Regrettably, some sections of route will not be served until the affected trees have been pruned.
For more information and diversion details, please see below.
- Kendrick Avenue and Pithall Road will not be served.
- Instead, the 55 will run directly along Packington Avenue.
From the same date, this service will become double-deck operated in order to ease some overcrowding at times on this service, hence the need to cut back low-hanging trees.
