Diamond Bus also freezes fares for 2021

Following NX Buses announcement last week, Diamond Bus are the latest West Midlands operator to announce that they will not be increasing any ticket prices next month.

Diamond have always been committed to providing passengers with great value fares, in 2020 we also tried to keep many of our prices frozen where possible and even lowered some fares in the West Midlands and North West!

Throughout the 2020 Covid-19 Pandemic Diamond have continued to operate bus services, to get key workers to their places of work and support community networks for people to access shops and other essential services. Where extra capacity was needed we increased services to support school children and the general public travel more safely.

We have continued to invest in new more environmentally friendly vehicles, with over 100 brand new low-emission buses joining our fleets in 2020. We have introduced a number of newly route branded buses with improved service features including free passenger wifi and on-board next stop screens and we are committed to continue this investment in 2021.

By continuing to improve and freezing our fares, we’re dedicated to making bus travel an attractive and affordable option for everyone as life begins to return to normal. This year has been particularly challenging for everyone and we hope that this will be welcome news for many as we approach the Christmas season and look forward to a positive new year.
