With the end of the schools Easter holidays, and following the easing of lockdown restrictions, National Express West Midlands have announced that many routes will have new and updated timetables introduced, in anticipation of increased passenger numbers and traffic on the roads.
There are also some route changes for some services in the Selly Oak, Hawkesley and Birmingham Airport areas.
Changes take effect from Sunday 18th April 2021.
Perry Barr
934 | Birmingham – Walsall (via Perry Barr, Kingstanding & Pheasey)
935 | Birmingham – Walsall (via Perry Barr, Kingstanding & Streetly)
936 | Birmingham – Brownhills (via Perry Barr Kingstanding, Pheasey, Aldridge & Walsall Wood)
937 | Birmingham – Brownhills (via Perry Barr, Kingstanding, Streetly, Aldridge & Walsall Wood)

Some journeys will leave Birmingham earlier to allow buses more time to operate through Perry Barr whilst the roadworks are ongoing.
Selly Oak
11A | Birmingham Outer Circle (Anticlockwise) (via Acocks Green, Yardley, Erdington, Perry Barr, Handsworth, Bearwood, Selly Oak & Kings Heath)
11C | Birmingham Outer Circle (Clockwise) (via Acocks Green, Kings Heath, Selly Oak, Bearwood, Handsworth, Perry Barr, Erdington & Yardley)
48 | West Bromwich – Weoley Castle (via Warley, Bearwood, Harborne, Q.E. Hospital, Kings Norton, Hawkesley & Northfield)
Minor route change in Selly Oak. Buses will now run directly along Harborne Lane and Oak Tree Lane, no longer serving Chapel Lane and Bristol Road. The bus stops on Bristol Road will no longer be served. Passengers should use the alternative stop on Oak Tree Lane instead.
Will now also serve Selly Oak. From Dawlish Road, buses will now operate via Bristol Road and Chapel Lane. Aston Webb Boulevard will no longer be served.
Hawkesley
45 | Birmingham – Longbridge (via Pershore Road, Stirchley, Cotteridge & West Heath)
The route of bus 45 will change in Hawkesley to provide better access to Aldi supermarket and serve more of the recently constructed housing development in the area. Buses will run along Shannon Road, Green Lane, Teviot Grove and Tunnel Road in both directions.
Birmingham Airport
The route at Birmingham Airport and Birmingham International Station will change. Buses will serve the Airport and International Station in the reverse order (both will continue to be served). This will reduce the journey time for customers travelling between Birmingham International Station and Birmingham Business Park.
