From Sunday 5th December 2021, a large number of services operated by NX West Midlands in both the Birmingham and Black Country areas are set to have new timetables introduced in order to “improve reliability”.
Some services that were facing withdrawal or cancellation have received a ‘reprieve’ though.
Service 41 – Acocks Green to QE Hospital
Frequency reduced to hourly, continues to operate Monday to Saturday only.
Service 46 – Northfield to QE Hospital
Overall frequency reduced to hourly, while short journeys will operate between Northfield and Hawkesley to maintain a half-hourly frequency along that busier part of the route. Sunday journeys withdrawn completely.
Service 77 – Walsall to Sutton Coldfield
Service curtailed to operate Monday to Saturday between Sutton Coldfield and Streetly. Sunday and some weekday journeys will operate Sutton Coldfield to Walsall as service 77A.
