Service changes in January 2024

From Sunday 7th January, most bus services will revert back to pre-Christmas schedules, while there are a couple of withdrawals and a handful of timetable changes taking place.

Services 8A/8C, 11/12X, 25/25X, 36, 46, 69, 70/70A, 148, 877 & 997/997S will have new timetables introduced to improve reliability.

School service 855 is withdrawn and replaced with new service 77B which will operate between New Oscott, Sutton Coldfield, John Willmott & Fairfax Schools, Falcon Lodge and Bishop Walsh School. This service will offer the same links as the 855 but will also provide extra capacity between Jockey Road and John Willmott & Fairfax Schools.

Services 3 and X3 have a revised route in Lichfield between Birmingham Road and Sainte Foy Avenue in order to serve a new housing development. From Birmingham Road, services will go via Osbourne Road, Bridgeman Way and Claypit Lane to rejoin normal line of route along Falkland Road. Journeys from Lichfield will go via the reverse of the above.

Service 46 has a revised timetable and route change in Kings Heath, new start/end is Addison Road stop on Alcester Road South.

Service X30 will be withdrawn following the expiry of the contract agreed with Ansty Park to part-fund the service.
UPDATE: Service X30 will continue to operate as a new contract has been agreed with the owners of Ansty Park, however a new timetable will be implemented from Monday 8th August.

From Sunday 14th January, most bus services using Dudley bus station will have revised timetables implemented as they change to new stopping locations in Tower Street, Priory Road and Ednam Road.

From Monday 15th January, service 002 will have a new Monday to Friday timetable introduced, to improve service reliability.
