St Patricks Day parade diversions – Sunday 17th March 2024

The Birmingham St Patrick’s Day parade and festivities returns this year on Sunday 17th March, and will be taking place along Bradford Street and part of Camp Hill.

Between 7:30am and 6pm, buses in the Digbeth area will be diverted.

Services 2, 3, 4, 4A, 5 and 6

Stratford Road services will divert via Bordesley Middleway and Coventry Road between Stratford Road and Digbeth High Street in both directions, stops on Camp Hill will not be served during this time.

Service 50

Between Highgate Middleway and Moat Lane, this service will divert via Bordesley Middleway, Coventry Road and Digbeth High Street in both directions, stops on New Moseley Road and Bradford Street will not be served during this time.

In addition to the above planned diversions, TfWM advise that the following diversions may take effect subject to traffic conditions necessitating them being used.

2, 3, 5 and 6 Towards Birmingham diverted via Stratford Road, Camp Hill Circus, Bordesley Middleway, Watery Lane Middleway, Lawley Middleway, Jennens Road, Park Street, Masshouse Lane, Moor Street, Park Street, Digbeth, Moat Lane Gyratory then normal lines of route

2, 3, 5 and 6 From Birmingham diverted via Moor Street, Jennens Road, Lawley Middleway, Watery Lane Middleway, Bordesley Middleway, Camp Hill Circus, Stratford Road then normal line of route

4 and 4a Towards Birmingham diverted via Stratford Road, Camp Hill Circus, Bordesley Middleway, Watery Lane Middleway, Lawley Middleway, Jennens Road, Park Street, Masshouse Lane, Moor Street, Carrs Lane then normal lines of route

4 and 4a From Birmingham diverted via Albert Street, Moor Street, Jennens Road, Lawley Middlway, Watery Lane Middleway, Bordesley Middleway, Camp Hill Circus, Stratford Road then normal line of route

17, 60 and X1 and X2 towards Birmingham diverted via Bordesley Circus, Coventry Road, Watery Lane Middleway, Lawley Middleway, Jennens Road, Park Street, Masshouse Lane, Moor Street Queensway, Moor Street and terminates at usual stops

16, 60, X1 and X2 from Birmingham diverted via Moor Street, Park Street, Digbeth, Moat Lane, St Martins, Park Lane, Moor Street, Jennens Road, Lawley Middleway, Watery Lane Middleway, Bordesley Circus then normal lines of route

97 Towards Birmingham diverted via Garrison Lane, Garrison Circus, Lawley Middleway, Jennens Road, Park Street, Masshouse Lane, Moor Street, Park Street, Digbeth, Moat Lane Gyratory then normal line of route to Moor Street

97 From Birmingham diverted via Moor Street, Jennens Road, Lawley Middleway, Curzon Circus, Garrison Lane then normal line of route

Passengers travelling to/from Birmingham city centre on any of the above services on this date, are advised to allow extra time for their journey in the event of any delays occurring.
