Wolverhampton service changes from Monday 17th June 2024

Following a decision by the Traffic Commissioner to revoke the operating licence of Travel Express (Let’s Go), there will be a number of service changes taking place in Wolverhampton from Monday 17th June 2024.

63 – Wolverhampton to Oxbarn Avenue
64 – Wolverhampton to Wakeley Hill
65 – Wolverhampton to Fordhouses
303 – County Bridge to Bilston

The contracts for these TfWM-supported services have been awarded to Diamond Bus, who will operate them from Monday 17th June to same route and timetable, with the exception of service 63 which has a slight route change in Wolverhampton city centre on outbound journeys.

1 – Goldthorn Park to Tettenhall Wood
3 – Fordhouses to Wolverhampton University
11 – Wolverhampton to Underhill
529 – Wolverhampton to Walsall

Let’s Go will no longer operate their commercial journeys on these services, which will continue to be operated by National Express West Midlands as normal.

UPDATE: Travel Express have lodged an appeal with the Traffic Commissioner against the revocation of their licence, in the meantime until the appeal is heard and a decision made, Let’s Go will continue to operate their journeys on the 1 and 11 services.
