From Sunday 21st July until 31st August, many bus services will revert to school holiday timetables, due to fewer passengers and less traffic congestion, allowing for reduced journey times.
Timetables can be found at the TfWM website as well as individual operators’ websites.
There are also a few other changes due to take place from the same date which are detailed below.
35A – Walsall to Leighswood
36 – Walsall to Lichfield
36A – Walsall to Lichfield
From 22nd July service 35A will be withdrawn and replaced by new service 36A linking Walsall, Rushall, Aldridge, Leighswood, Streets Corner, Muckely Corner and Lichfield.
Combined with service 36 this now offers two buses an hour between Walsall, Rushall, Aldridge and Lichfield. Existing service 36 journeys will remain unchanged.
These services are funded by Transport for West Midlands, Staffordshire County Council, and the government’s Bus Service Improvement Plan.

56B – Coventry to Bedworth
57 – Coventry to Nuneaton
From Saturday 20th July, service 56B will be withdrawn and replaced with new 57 service, which extends from Bedworth to Nuneaton via Griff, Bermuda Park Rail Station, Bermuda Village and Chilvers Coton.

From Sunday 21st July, following feedback received from passengers and local residents, this service is revised to serve Bromford Drive and Chipperfield Road.

97 – Birmingham to Chelmsley Wood
97A – Birmingham to Airport & NEC
New service 97A is introduced every half hour Monday to Sunday, which continues from Chelmsley Road along Bickenhill Lane, serving Birmingham Airport before terminating at Birmingham International station (for NEC and Resorts World). The return journey will serve the Airport again, then back along Bickenhill Lane and Coleshill Heath Road before rejoining the normal 97 line of route towards Chelmsley Wood and Birmingham from Helmswood Drive.

X18 – Stratford to Coventry
X18A – Gaydon JLR to Coventry
Some additional peak journeys will run between Gaydon, Warwick and Coventry as service X18A and some journeys extended on the main X18 route.
