Birmingham city centre bus stop changes from Sunday 5th January 2025

Work on the extension of the Midland Metro tram line is progressing well and as a result more bus stops will open on Corporation Street (opposite the Square Peg pub) and Albert Street.

If you usually access the city centre to and from Moor Street Queensway, Carrs Lane and Priory Queensway, your bus route is still running. There will however be some small changes to bus routes and bus stop locations in this area of the city.

The bus stop you need to use to get off or on the bus may have changed. Only services that are changing are listed below:

Services 23, 24, 822 will stop at the north end of Albert Street heading towards Bull Street at MS21 as well as the existing stop on Priory Queensway.

Services 934, 935, 936, 937, 937A, 997, 997S will stop at the south end of Albert Street heading towards Moor Street Queensway at MS22  

Services 33, 51, 907, 907A, X51 will stop at the Corporation Street opposite the Square Peg pub.

Services 2, 3 will use stop MS3 on Moor Street Queensway by Primark instead of MS4

Services 4, 4A will move from MS4 to use stop MS5

Services 61, 63 will move from MS9 to use stop MS8 on the inbound (near St Michaels Catholic Church)  On the outbound PQ8 on Priory Queensway near B&M Homestore and also MS16   

Services 65, 67, 68 will use stop PQ9 (opposite B&M Homestore) on Priory Queensway instead of PQ10

Services 97, 97A will use Carrs Lane at MS7 and MS16 on Moor Street Queensway and no longer call at Priory Queensway.

Service FD (FORT) will move from stop MS7 to MS6.

Services X21 and X22 will use MS8 and MS16 near Curzon Street development as well as PQ8 near B&M Homestore.

Services not listed above are not changing and will continue to serve their present stops.

Revised timetables will take effect from Sunday 5th January and are available to view and download from the TfWM website.
