Service changes

5 / 5A – Wolverhampton to Codsall
X5 – Wolverhampton to Codsall

From Sunday 23rd February, service 5 will have a revised Monday to Saturday daytime timetable to improve reliability.

Service 5A is replaced with new X5 service which will run direct to/from Whitmore Reans via Newhampton Road omitting Dunstall Hill. This service operates Monday to Friday daytime only.

No change to evening or Sunday journeys provided by Chaserider.

11 – Coventry to Leamington Spa

From Sunday 23rd February, to improve reliability, buses will no longer serve Coventry Station Interchange in either direction, customers can still use stops on Warwick Road Bridge for an easier connection to the Rail Station.

30 – West Bromwich to Wednesbury
44 – West Bromwich to Harvills Hawthorn

Due to the long-term closure of Harvills Hawthorn/New Street, from Tuesday 4th February to Monday 5th May, these services will operate on a diversion.

30 to West Bromwich:
Buses will follow Hill Top, Black Lake, New Swan Lane, Black Country New Rd and Great Western Way to Great Bridge, then normal line of route.

Unfortunately a number of stops around Harvills Hawthorn Estate will not be able to be served by the 30 during this time. National Express service 44 will continue to serve Harvills Hawthorn Estate to West Bromwich, where connections can be made to services for Great Bridge.

30 to Wednesbury:
Normal line of route.

44 To Harvills Hawthorn:
From Old Meeting Street the service will go left onto New Swan Lane, then Black Country New Road, George Henry Road, Bagnall Street, continue to Harvills Hawthorn, Wedgewood Avenue and then it will follow normal line of route.

52 – Birmingham to Perry Beeches

Due to roadworks at Birchfield Road junction from Monday 24th of February, this service will be operating on a diversion till Friday 4th of April.

It appears that buses heading towards Birmingham won’t be able to turn right from Birchfield Road into Heathfield Road, so instead will continue down to Six Ways Island to turn back in order to then turn left into that road instead.

67 – Yew Tree to Wednesbury
74 – Walsall to Gillity Village
674 – Walsall to Wednesbury

From Monday 24th February, these two services will be merged together and renumbered as the 674, which will continue to be operated by Walsall Community Transport.

From Walsall the new 674 will operate along the current line of 74 route to Gillity Village, then via Walstead Road to pick up the route of the 67 to continue to Wednesbury. This will provide residents with new direct journey opportunities.

There will be a minor route revision with the service using Greenside Way which does not currently have any bus service, Woodruff Way will no longer be served, residents of Woodruff Way will remain served by the Diamond Bus service 45 (West Bromwich to Walsall) which runs every 30 minutes.

23 / 23A – Wednesbury to Willenhall
326 – Bloxwich to Bilston
529 – Walsall to Wolverhampton

Due to the long-term one-way closure of Somerford Place for cycle lane works, from Sunday, February 2nd, to Friday, August 29th, these services will operate on a diversion towards Bilston/Willenhall/Walsall only.
