Stourbridge service change – April 20th 2025

Due to low passenger numbers meaning the service is no longer commercially viable, Diamond Bus will be making changes to their 125 service between Stourbridge and Bridgnorth from Sunday 20th April 2025.

With financial support from Shropshire County Council using Bus Service Improvement Plan (BSIP) funding, the 125 will be curtailed to operate between Kidderminster and Bridgnorth only.

While there are some other service changes happening in the Kidderminster area as a result of this change, a bus service between Stourbridge and Kidderminster will be retained thanks to an intervention by Transport for West Midlands.

Kidderminster to Stourbridge Update:

Following discussions with Transport for West Midlands, we are pleased to announce that additional funding has been secured in order to continue providing a service between Kidderminster and Stourbridge.

Our Dudley to Stourbridge 25 service will be extended to provide an hourly 25A Service between Dudley, Stourbridge and Kidderminster via Merry Hill. This exciting change means that passengers in Kidderminster will now be able to benefit from a direct hourly link to the Merry Hill Centre, as well as the historic attractions of Stourbridge and Dudley.

We would like to thank Shropshire County Council, Worcestershire County Council and Transport for West Midlands for working with Diamond in order to continue to provide connections for the local communities across these regions.
