Following the completion of Midland Metro works, which has seen tram tracks extended from Lower Bull Street across Moor Street Queensway to a new terminus point next to the Clayton Hotel, there will be some bus stop changes for bus routes from Sunday 28th September 2025, in order to make use of a new bus-only road that has been constructed between Park Street and Moor Street Queensway, while some services revert to previous stopping points.
16 – Birmingham to Great Barr
16A – Birmingham to West Bromwich
82 – Birmingham to Bearwood
87 – Birmingham to Dudley
These services will now call at stop MS9 on Moor Street Queensway (before Priory Queensway), instead of stop MS8.
23 – Birmingham to Bartley Green
24 – Birmingham to Quinton Road West
These services will now use stop MS8 on Moor Street Queensway (before Albert Street), and will no longer stop on Albert Street (Dale House) or Corporation Street (Square Peg).
33 – Birmingham to Pheasey
51 – Birmingham to Walsall
907 – Birmingham to Sutton Coldfield
These services will now terminate at and start from stop PQ9 on Priory Queensway, and will no longer stop on Corporation Street (Square Peg) or Albert Street (Dale House).
61 / 63 – Birmingham to Frankley
Inbound journeys will call at stop MS9 (Albert Street) on Moor Street Queensway, and will terminate at and start from new stop MS23 on the new section of Park Street, next to the Clayton Hotel Metro stop.
65 – Birmingham to Perry Common
67 – Birmingham to Castle Vale
68 – Birmingham to Amazon Peddimore
X64 – Birmingham to Amazon Peddimore
These services will now terminate at and start from stop PQ10 on Priory Queensway.
66 – Birmingham to Sutton Coldfield
This service will now terminate at and start from stop PQ13 on Priory Queensway.
110 – Birmingham to Tamworth
X3 – Birmingham to Lichfield
X4 – Birmingham to Falcon Lodge
X5 – Birmingham to Roughley
X14 – Birmingham to Sutton Coldfield
X15 – Birmingham to Sutton Coldfield
Inbound journeys towards Birmingham city centre will make use of the new bus-only road from Park Street, and will call at stop MS21 (Dale House) on Albert Street, before terminating at and starting from stop PQ3 on Corporation Street (next to the Square Peg pub). Outbound stop CS1 (Tesco Express) will only be served by the 110 and X15 services.
936 – Birmingham to Walsall
937 – Birmingham to Brownhills West
997 – Birmingham to Walsall
998 – Birmingham to Streetly
X51 – Birmingham to Cannock
These services will now terminate at and start from stop PQ8 on Priory Queensway, and will no longer stop on Corporation Street (Square Peg) or Albert Street (Dale House).
X1 – Birmingham to Coventry
X2 – Birmingham to Solihull
These services will now terminate at and start from stop MS22 (Dale House) on Albert Street. Existing stop MS17 on Moor Street will continue to be served on outbound journeys.
X12 – Birmingham to Solihull
X13 – Birmingham to Chelmsley Wood
These services will now terminate at and start from stop PQ11 on Priory Queensway.
X20 – Birmingham to Bromsgrove
X21 / X22 – Birmingham to Bartley Green
Inbound journeys will call at stop MS9 (Albert Street) on Moor Street Queensway, and will terminate at and start from stop PQ2 on Corporation Street (opposite the Square Peg pub).
Apart from above listed stop changes, all other stops will continue to be served as at present. Revised timetables to accommodate these changes can be found at the TfWM website.
Bus services NOT listed above are not changing and will continue to serve current stops and line of route.
