Diamond Buses introduce Contactless Payments

Diamond Buses are the first bus operator in the West Midlands area to roll out contactless payment on all their buses.

As well as paying by cash, or using a SWIFT Pay-As-You-Go card, passengers can now purchase day and single tickets using their contactless bank card.

In the meantime, National Express West Midlands are currently in the process of trialling contactless payments on their X1 and X2 Platinum services, with a view to a full rollout across their fleet commencing later this year, beginning with services in Coventry.
