Some pics from Birmingham Bus Bash

Popped up to Billesley Common this afternoon to have a nose around the Birmingham Bus Bash, held today at Moseley Rugby Club.

A mix of old and new buses, with some of the recent ‘heritage’ repaints on display. There were also stalls selling various bits of memorabilia, photos and models.

Also noted NX’s 4679, in West Bromwich Corporation heritage livery, is now named in honour of Tony Hunter, a long-standing NX employee who does a lot of work for bus enthusiasts, as well as being a bus enthusiast himself. Congratulations Tony!

You can view Tony’s fleetlists and impressive catalogue of photos at his West Midlands Buses In Photographs website.
