TfWM warn of Swift collection issues on Monday mornings

Swift users will have received a notice from TfWM this morning advising them of ‘restrictions’ with collecting Swift products to their card on Monday mornings.

We want to make you aware that there have been some delays with collecting products on Swift cards on Monday mornings.

Our Swift systems are extremely busy during these peak travel times.

If you are planning to buy or collect your product on Monday please be aware that there may be a delay with collection.

Systems affected include, the Swift Collector App, TfWM App, on-street Swift Collector and Swift Kiosks.

To avoid any issues, we advise that you buy and collect your product in advance or outside of this peak period. If you experience any issues on Monday, please keep trying to collect your product. You will be able to collect the product but it will take longer than expected.

The TfWM website and app are of course open 24/7 and you are able to buy tickets in advance by specifying a start date, there’s no need to wait until the first day of travel to buy a week/month ticket.

And of course those with NFC-enabled smartphones can use the TfWM app collector feature to load bought products onto their Swift card straightaway.
