New frequent services from Birmingham to Lichfield and Cannock coming soon

From Sunday April 28th, National Express West Midlands will be extending two of their services to Cannock and Lichfield.

Service X3 (Birmingham to Lichfield, via Sutton Coldfield)

Midland Classic’s X12 service (Burton-on-Trent to Sutton Coldfield) is to be curtailed and will only operate between Burton and Lichfield.

NX’s X3 service will be extended from Hill Hook to Lichfield along the present X12 route. It will operate every thirty minutes Monday to Saturday and hourly on Sundays.

Service X51 (Birmingham to Cannock, via Walsall)

This service is being extended to operate all the way to Cannock during Monday to Saturday daytimes.

At present only a small number of early morning and evening journeys continue to Cannock.

Evening and Sunday journeys will continue to operate between Birmingham and Walsall only
