Extra Buses for Selected Peak Time Journeys

As schools return in September, some services will have increased demand during peak times. By comparing data from 2019 and using passenger trends we have been able to work with local authorities across the region to identify services where school journeys could impact on social distancing measures and work towards providing a resolution.

With the assistance of Government funding from many of the local authorities involved, from 1st September we will be able to provide additional vehicles on selected journeys, to enable social distancing to be maintained and for those journeys to be undertaken safely.

All services are being regularly monitored and further changes may be made if required, please continue to check our website for the latest updates. Currently it is anticipated these service levels will be in place until October Half Term and services will be reviewed again at that point.

West Midlands Region:

We will be providing an additional vehicle on the following busy school time journeys. The extra buses on these services will be available to the general public, therefore Government Guidelines regarding social distancing and the wearing of Face Coverings must be observed.
